You need to add the high A and E notes of every chord here. Otherwise it doesn't sound as bright, this sounds dronish. Try and incorporate some different strum in there too, this strumming pattern is very boring.

Your vocals aren't too bad, but they do seem sort of artificial. There's not a whole lot of feeling behind it (but it's not your own song) and you should add some reverb to it to make it sound bigger.

It was a decent track though. Thumbs Up

Droquen, knock it off!

This is as good/best version I have ever heard of a cover of this song here.

You gonna scare off up and comming talent!

(I hear real TALENT in this, even if it is a stupid cover of the same type of thing the "newbies" always tend to cover.)

Droquen, your smackdown (since you were the very first to post on this song) was too harsh!

(Droquen, when you catch ME doing the same to someone else, PLEASE kick me in the ass too! I think you have a certain way you want to hear this particular song and were just not hearing it this time around.)

Droquen is right in a way, the levels dont quite seem right, the guitar needs more treble and the vocals need to be more dominant. A very good cover though :) (Smile)

I love it when families work together creatively, so you get my vote on that count. Stick with it chaps, and maybe one day you'll be up there with the Gallaghers.

Good guitar, the angst is all there! the vocals seem to be lacking somewhat over the guitar for me balance is all important and although the guitar is fabulous and the vocals are quite good there seems to be a balance in volume tone etc that is lacking in the vocal department for me! Still a dammed good track!
